Series 1000 Fixed Frame Windows

The Boyd Series 1000 is a commercial aluminum fixed frame window designed for projects that combine fixed and operable window systems. Its cohesive styling helps contemporary elevations maintain a uniform appearance across stationary and non-stationary openings, making the series a strong fit for universities, schools, hospitals, military facilities, government buildings, and other demanding commercial applications.

Engineered for harsh conditions, the Series 1000 is AAMA tested and includes bead-glazed insulated glass up to 1.375" thick, a 4" main frame depth, thermal barrier protection, and an AW-PG90 AAMA rating. The system is also available with true, interior, and historical muntins, as well as blinds or dual-glazing options for project-specific design requirements.

  • Projects requiring AW-PG90 fixed-window performance, thermal barrier protection, and glazing up to 1.375" thick.

  • Coastal or harsh-weather applications where the project requirements are reviewed separately from impact or blast performance.
