Applied Architectural Muntin System Overview

Applied architectural muntins, also called muntin grids on many commercial projects, are used when the glass opening needs a divided-lite look without making every visible lite a separate piece of glass. They are especially useful on commercial storefront, curtain wall, adaptive-reuse, and historic-review projects where profile shape, grid pattern, shadow line, and finish color matter.
